WW1 US NAVY Chelsea 4.5 dial (5.5 housing width) Marine Deck Clock No. Serial number on the movement matches the serial number on the brass case.

The movement was professionally overhauled, and the clock is keeping excellent time. Mounted to wood stand with overall dimensions of: 8.75" H x 7" W x 4.5 D.

Condition: Very Good clean condition. At the 12 oclock position on the case there is a small threaded hole that someone deliberately put there. I personally served in the US Navy for over 20 years.

And this is the kind of thing the Navy would have done. The handmade wood stand has a nice rustic appearance that looks period to the time of the clock, but most likely it is not.
