Up for sale is a 3/6 (84th Company, 6th Marines) uniform. Please feel free to send me an offer, I will personally review each offer. And I want to move this uniform along to its next home. I listed the price not really knowing what the market is on these jackets anymore. This was discussed about 4 years ago on the US militaria site on August 11th 2015.Last picture shows a blacklight test. The beam of light is split between the tshirt and the patch. It's named twice in the inside sleeves to a U. M Richey, which I believe was Urett Richey when I had searched for him when I had an ancestry account. Checked out muster rolls which show he did indeed serve w/83d & 84th companies in France, was either wounded or sick 7/22/18 & hospitalized until return to US in Jan 1919. I'm unable to make out the date stamp as it has faded quite badly. Overall the uniform is in great shape for the age. Patch shows a little better in pictures than in hand. Two overseas stripes on the left sleeve and one wound stripe on the left. NO holes in the neck for EGA's as was sometimes the case for uniforms of this era. I've had this uniform on display in my basement for years now and I'm ready to move it along to a new home. I once had a large collection and downsized to just a few pieces, this being one, and now I'm downsizing to just my posters and my personal uniform. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
