Amazing Longines RFC WW1 Pilots Watch Trench Watch Black Dial

Measuring 42mm without Lugs or Crown this is an amazing example of an early pilots watch. Some pilots, and tank drivers, in both WW1 and WW2 had a tendency to wear their watches on their upper legs.

Hence the orientation of the dial. The numerals and hands have almost all the original paint, stunning! Unsigned movement but obviously Longines and it is a very nice high quality movement.
