German Prussian Artillery Sword Saber M1873 War-Time Dated 15 WKC WW1

This is a very nice example of a War-Time German Prussian Artillery Sword Saber, Model 1873. It is mounted with a massive, slightly curved blade that measures 30 inches in length which remains in nice original condition with only some minor surface staining. The blade is dated "15" on the spine with the maker's mark "WEYERSBERG KIRSCHBAUM SOLINGEN" on one side of the ricasso just beneath the languet. The metal stirrup guard has now richly patined with age and frames a composite grip that remains tight and sturdy as well. The metal scabbard has survived very well with no dings and only a small bit of oxidation to the drag tip.
