Imperial German World War I Pour Le Merite Blue Max Decoration. The dimensions of the Pour Le Merite are 2 1/16 wide by 2 1/16 tall.

The front has a Kings crown on the upper arm with an F below. It reads Pour Le Merite on the other three arms. There are eagles in each of the four corners. Double sided powder blue enamel with a brass frame. Includes an oblong suspension loop at the top for supporting the ribbon.

Also included is the presentation machine embroidered black cloth ribbed cotton ribbon with flat silver bullion wire & white cotton strips along the top and bottom borders. It measures 15 wide by 2 3/16 tall. This medal would have been worn as a neck order.
