IT HAS JUST BEEN POINTED OUT TO ME THE SIDES USED TO BE ROUNDED AND HAVE BEEN GROUND DOWN TO HAVE A FLAT APPEARANCE. THE KNIFE MAY HAVE TAKEN A LARGE INPACT AND WAS ALTERED TO COVER UP THAT FLAW. The blade still has original blackening and is clean of chips or pitting.

The handle has a few scuff and dings that can be seen in pictures. Was well cared for and not abused like so many others. Does not include original scabbard.
