In original solid silver case. It is among first true wristwatch chronograph caliber s or perhaps even the very first. Not a pocket watch movement inserted within lugged case (as it is with certain companies who claimed they made first wrist chronograph). Case diameter (not including lugs): 35 mm. Strap, buckle and carrying box too seems to be of 1910s epoch. Radium-painted signed enamel dial - pleasant look, minor hair at right-counter subdial. Four-part solid silver case, unpolished. Winds, runs good; chronograph functions all good; keeps basic time. Overall, very nicely preserved condition. I reckon, the watch was previously stored without using for quite long. Movement itself looks pretty fresh. Whole crown serves as a push piece button for activating, stopping and reseting the chronograph.

(Same type as on Longines from 1913). Very scarce 13''' caliber inside the item watch. In many years I saw just five chronographs powered by it. Four exemplars in gilt finished version and just one nickel (current actually).

Moreover, all these small movements have serial numbers in conjunction with Alfred Lugrin old six-digit numeration system: 117 -118. BTW, same diapason as his larger 19 lignés chronographs (103-119). There is a different point considering Moeri small chronograph in a printed magazine of 2004, but personally I do not support it. As many other manufacturers, Moeris has not only produced completely their own calibers but also in many cases relied on other manufacturers' stuff. Recall old LeCoultre of 1940s who nevertheless utilized Valjoux calibers for very long instead of making their own wrist chronographs from the scratch.

Later advertisement reprint with contemporary added text likely from the book'Schweizer Armbanduhren. Chronologie eines Welterfolges' by Brunner, Gisbert L. Facts prove this 13'' chronograph caliber was occasionaly placed in wristwaches at least during. Around 1913 it was succeeded by another 13 lignés, significantly more common now, Lugrin caliber (I saw the earliest watch with this caliber carrying an English mark for 1914). The later one was used by many wachmaking businesses in.

S starting from Omega till obscure brands like Escany. Since its production lasted longer, it appears less seldom than its older relative.

I saw 25 watches with it. The item also appears to be among first wrist chronographs with luminous radium dial. (Be careful with paint please and be noticed about radiation danger). (7 days to UK via Parcelforce GlobalPriority; same time - most of EU countries; same time - Switzerland, Norway). (7 days to France) (7 days to Canada).

(4-5 days to China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, most of Asia). (7-14 days to Australia, New Zealand).
