MOORCROFT Lest We Forget Poppy WW1 Armistice Remembrance 25/9 Vase RRP £560
This beautiful hand made and hand decorated art pottery vase was produced by the world renowned and highly collected Moorcroft factory in Stoke on Trent, England. It was designed by Kerry Goodwin as part of the World War 1 Armistice range for 2018. The design has been specially amended from the original Lest We Forget design for the Armistice with a World War I tank replacing the original cannon. It takes inspiration from the poem by Rudyard Kipling and shows poppies to the fore of a deserted World War 1 battlefield. It was issued as a numbered edition of which this is number 29. It is in excellent condition with no chips, crazing or restoration. Size - 23cm (9 inches) in height. Fully stamped to the base with various Moorcroft markings (as shown in the attached photograph for your reference).
