Bixler's letter are a "treasure trove" of information for the next custodian of this collection. This is truly a beautiful grouping that is documented and researched unlike most any other on the open market today. Finding an identified grouping such as this with not only research but also a letter documenting the history of the collection is nearly impossible and we are all very fortunate as collectors and dealers to have the opportunity to own it. Having the original insignia painted helmet with the grouping is a huge bonus.

Most were separated from the uniforms by previous collectors or dealers or lost many years ago. We are very confident that you will agree with us when you see this grouping. It is truly worthy of being in the collection of a historical institution or museum and on display display for the world to see. Now, it can be in your historic collection and we know that you will be as proud and honored to own it as we have are to offer it to you.
