Imperial German WWI M-1916 Stahlhelm Helmet, original dark green paint, there is some corrosion along the front right edge seam, original headliner. Rivets, maker mark and size stamp are present, but is hard to read. The helmet has the original. Three pad leather liner, and two of the pads retain their original pillows tucked up in the underside pockets, the liner leather is dry, and has repairs and reinforcements to keep them preserved, original lace cord, the helmet has the soldier's name on the back inside skirt.
