Original WWI German Pickelhaub Helmet

This Is what I believe Is an original WWI German military Pickelhaub helmet. It Is In fairly good condition considering Its over 100 years old and made of leather. The leather Is old and not very supple but mostly Intact and fragile with a couple small pieces missing here and there. I can see a spot on the Interior liner band where someone glued the leather back in place at some point. Some of the stitching has rotted out here and there.

The crest eagle fits the helmet nicely but the retainer pins are a bit loose. They could be tightened easily by bending the little tabs but I leave that to the new owner. Not something Im very familiar with so please see the pictures as they are the best description of this neat old helmet.
