Is a rare original WWI'Lifeguard' Pocket Periscope by F. Duerr & Sons of Manchester. It measures 4 1/2" x 4 1/4" x 2 1/4 when collapsed.

The periscope extends smoothly as the scissor action is still heavily greased. The mirrors have minimal losses to their silvering.
