Here is a nice original pre- WW1 era Model 1902 Dress uniform to a private in the 2nd Cavalry Troop L. Made of wool with yellow piping. Has the 1912 style donut buttons in gilt and the small style crossed sabers as correct.
Chest measures 18 inches across which puts it as a size 36, very typical for this period. I noted one small moth nip on the back. Colors are bright and all seams intact. Please see all images to establish condition. The 2nd Cavalry during this time period patrolled the southern border against Mexican banditos and later was sent to France with the AEF where is saw actually combat as a cavalry unit.
