Offered for sale is a superb silver trench watch. A superb antique solid sterling silver cased ww1 officers Trench watch.
The case is hallmarked for London 1914, makers mark rubbed, probably G S for George Stockwell. A quality example with screw back and front case, and swing lugs. The watch is running well and keeping time but not tested over a long period of time. It comes on what is likely the original brown leather strap with hallmarked buckle for 1914. Size - the case is approx 3.5 cm wide excluding crown and the dial is 3 cm in diameter.
