This is a great old family collection of WWI items for a solider named Corp Raymond T Bliss. I bought the collection from the Bliss family located in north Georgia (USA). Raymond Bliss was from Massachusetts, and enlisted in the Army in White Plains New York.

He served in the 105th Infantry Regiment, which was an infantry regiment of the New York Army National Guard that saw combat in the American Civil War, World War I, and World War II. Originally, it was known as the 2nd New York Volunteer Infantry Regiment, but it was redesignated in 1916. The 105th fought as a part of the 27th Infantry Division during both World Wars. Here's what's included. >>>Brodie doughboy helmet with New York 27th insignia; the liner is detached.

>>>Photograph of German soldier, on the back it reads "Captured on the Hindenburg Line September 29, 1918". >>>Medal in the shape of a cross that reads "United States Forces 1917 1918" on the front and a long inscription on the back.

>>>Medal, rough with "105" inscribed above the guns. >>>Ticket/Billet for the USS Leviathan. >>>Individual Pay Record Book with a few pages of info written about or by Mr. >>>A note written by a family member describing some of the items. The two posters are old original posters given to Mr. The one on the left is very rough and crumbly on the edges. It's roughly 22" x 16.5".

It's entitled Units States Army 1917 Defenders of Humanity. It lists the members that served and lists Mr. The one on the right is in better condition.

21.5" x 16.75". It's entitled World War In the Services of the Nation, and has hand written information about Mr. Bliss, including the engagements he participated in, which were the Hindenburg Line, Selle River, The Knoll and Dickebush Sector. This is a rare old collection that's thick with history, great for a hardcore WWI collector.
