WW1 BRITISH 1st PATTN STEEL HELMET+ LINER & COVER, RAMC MEDIC RARE ORIGINAL LOT

This is a RARE original matching lot being a WW1 1st pattern MEDICS Brodie STEEL HELMET.. WD 1915 helmet with the irregular wavy raw edge and oilskin liner. This helmet is a Medic and is complete with its original canvas cover. The cover has its original cord still present and the cover has the double canvas rim around the edge for protection. It also has a Red Cross to the front. The inner rim of the helmet is marked to the 109 Field Ambulance which was part of the Ulster Division. The cover has some wear to the edging and a couple of small holes otherwise it is generally good.
