This is a used WW1 British Infantry Officers Sword with Leather Scabbard and Frog. The handle is leather wrapped which is normal for the era with a wire wrap. The guard is plain with a George the 5th cypher on it.

The blade has grayed with age and has never had any etching on it. The maker is Fenton Brothers in Sheffield. It has a broad arrow on one side near the guard. The frog has seen better days as it has dried out but it is still all there.
