Ww1 Model 1917 German Green Helmet With Guard Insignia

This is an original steel helmet which has clean exterior with mellow patina. It has retained about 85% of the fieldgreu paint with a guard insignia on the wearer's left.

I have my doubts over the originality of the insignia so please judge it on your own. Maker's mark is not readable but looking at the lugs, it is a size 64. Helmet liner is not original to this helmet as it should have 3 leather pads. There are no rivets to hold the liner band too.
