Very good condition and guaranteed original WWI Imperial German 98/05 Mauser butcher sawback bayonet that is maker marked C. HAENEL SUHL on the left side blade ricasso and dated 1916 on the spine.

Blade has nice original bright finish with a few spots of gray. Saw teeth are sharp and crisp.

Remaining metal finish is mostly brown. Fitted in correct original steel scabbard that has original blue metal finish showing wear to brown and gray, with some scale and a few dents. A nice, hard to find 98/05 sawback bayonet that will make a fine addition to your collection.
