Very good condition and guaranteed original WWI US Army cavalry M1912 experimental shovel blade that was designed to use the picket pin has a handle. Complete with split key on a chain, this was designed to attach to the picket pin. Comes with an original M1910 style cover that is in excellent condition.

Front has a nice clear U. Stamp and is unit marked to E Troop of the 302.

Cover is super clean with no damage and is complete with belt hook, and securing strap and buckle. A rare experimental cavalry shovel that will make an excellent addition to your collection.
