Wwi Us Army Model 1913 Patton Cavalry Saber Sword-springfield Armory 1917

This is a model 1913 US Cavalry Saber. While this isn't a pristine example, it's a good representation. Some staining and surface corrosion. Minor nicks on the cutting edge.

Cuts and separation on the canvas on the scabbard. Please see photos and ask questions. I've had this a long time, but beyond what I've written here, I don't know that much about it.

I rescued it from a pawn shop some time ago. It was marked "Pirate Sword" LOL. Other than wiping it with an oiled rag, I've done nothing with it but had it in the man cave.
