WWI WWII US Marine Corps USMC Early First Aid Pouch with CARR 1913 Marked Snaps

WWI US Marine Corps USMC Early First Aid Pouch w/ CARR 1913 Marked Snaps. Rare used US Marine Corps double snap flap first aid pouch.

These were developed during WWI and issued through WWII. Body is made of OD-3 canvas. Has the pass through holes on the back. Has steel (magnetic) wire hook with web reinforcement attachment on the reverse.

Female and male snaps are properly marked CARR Pat 13 on them. Lightly written by hand on the reverse under the belt hook is " C-462". This is faded and not easy to read. This pouch was issued and used, but not abused. Pouch shows proper service wear and age.
