Old Trench Knife Dagger Custom Forged Fighting Vintage WW1 Theater Military Type... Measures about 18.5 OAL. The total blade length is 13", inclusive of the unique rectangular, brass "ricasso cover that would add additional strength. The blade is that of a true dagger, hand forged w/ medium ridge, sharpened on both sides. Note pitting scars, various patina, wear, scratches.

There is a large, rounded, full guard, and bolstered, w/ a steel pommel cap, having the rattail tang peened at the end. The turned wood handle is in very good condition. This knife is uncleaned, as found. I do not know the provenance, where or when made.
