ORIGINAL 1918 Texas A & M College Army Signal Corps & Radio Mechanics Photo
Wonderful and rare original panoramic photo with white letter labeling stating: Signal Corps School Radio Mechanics, A & M College, Texas June 1st, 18. In the right hand corner there is an additional white letter labeling which states "Photo By Sosolick"??? I cannot verify the spelling of the last name of the photographer. This panoramic view showing the entire Corp and buildings behind measures 7" x 44".
I firmly believe my removal for inspection and photographing was the first time this 1918 photograph has ever been out of it's frame. I could write paragraphs on the wonderful history of Texas A & M College at Station Hill and their involvement with the many training classes and facilities for U S Army personnel during the First World War Years as well as bravely fighting off the harsh realities of the Influenza strain which rocked the world. I truly don't know what to affix as a fair value asking price. This photo is equally a historic part of both the U S Army WWI campaign and the magnificent A & M College of Texas.I do not know if this is a single remaining photo, or if other copies exist, or if they ever existed. I will continue to research possibilities for the name of the photographer as I place the listing and will update with any new information.
