Pre-WWI US Army M1904 Hospital Corps Knife SA 1910 withLeather Scabbard RIA 1911
Pre-WWI Era US Army Model 1904 Hospital Corps Knife Marked: SA 1910 with Leather Scabbard Maked: Rock Island Arsenal 1911 - Nice Condition - RARE. The Knife has a bright finish with some minor discoloration from age. No nicks or chips in the blade.
No evidence of excessive sharpening. The blade is marked SA 1910 with the flaming bomb on one side and US 14125 on the other side.
The walnut grips are in good condition, see photo's. The leather scabbard is a 2nd pattern with the Krag Belt Hook. The scabbard is marked Rock Island Arsenal 1911 H. There is a repair at the tip of the scabbard. The repair prevents the blade from fully seating into the scabbard.The leather is soft and supple, all seams are intact. Please see photo's for condition.
