Vintage 1940s Hamilton Martin 17 Jewel 987A pre wwI Men's Wrist Watch Runs well

Watch winds and set smoothly. The crown pops out with almost a bit of spring assist and feels very solid. The applied solid 18kt gold hour markers are very shiny. Solid silver dial has a bit of patina. The watch keeps excellent time and the balance wheel has the strongest flick back and forth I've ever seen.

The 10kt gold filled case is in great shape and features lovely dot style lugs. Seems to retain original thick curved crystal and is in great shape. Nice unused (5/8) guinue leather band included. But I recommend new pins double lobed pins and therefore band will come uninstalled.
