Army Marking Outfit for Stamping Leather. This genuine piece of American military history was issued to units to stamp identification and unit numbers onto leather equipment like saddles, holsters, slings, and horse tack.

The original olive drab wooden box features clear, highly legible stenciling on the lid: MARKING OUTFIT FOR STAMPING LEATHER. The box exhibits wonderful, honest field wear, light edge chipping, and a beautiful authentic patina that collectors love.
