"We aim to promote the morale of the regiment, to promote a spirit of sympathy between the men of the Regular Army, National Guard, and National Army, and to publish all interesting, cheerful and humorous news that will get by the censor" Vol. 1, "The Why, How and Wherefore of the'Range Finder'". According to OCLC (Rutgers and UVA only) "The Range Finder" ran irregularly for six issues. Subject: Military History, Periodicals, World War I.
