WW1 Royal Marines RM vintage Military Trench watch full Hunter case serviced VGC

This is an incredible "Full Hunter" nickel WW1 era military trench watch. In outstanding antique condition for its 100 + years , this watch is winding and working well , keeping great time as fully serviced i. Dismantled, ultrasonically cleaned , re assembled & tested, The watch has superb patina to its dial & case is in excellent condition with no damage , it is a beautiful timepiece. The case is nickel and the movement is either a Doxa or Maire unsigned 15 jewel savonette style. The crown is the original "pumpkin" or "onion" type and looks fantastic.

It has a silver Royal Marines badge on the top that is vintage and has the "Kings" crown so correct for the period , it shows some but still looks very great. It measures 37.5mm with the crown , 34mm without, x 40mm lugs to lugs approx , a stunning quality timepiece.

With a great movement that its all original apart from the inner glass added during its service. It comes on a more modern Lizard grain real leather band but could be changed to a cuff strap quite easily , its ready to wear & enjoy and looks beautiful, a nice early WW1 example with the badge of a fantastic Historic regiment. Please note to open the top you push the button in at 5 o clock & lift the top. Do not open without pushing the button in it may damage the mechanism. This would make a great gift for the serving or non serving Marine (or Naval related collector) & would make an excellent display piece & talking point.
