WW1 WWI Original French ship SS La Provence II Ocean Liner auxiliary cruiser old

Original 1909 French Posted postcard. Good condition with signs of light wear and yellowing. SS La Provence was an ocean liner and auxiliary cruiser torpedoed and sunk in the Mediterranean Sea on 26 February 1916.

She belonged to the French Compagnie Générale Transatlantique. Approximately 5 1/2" x 3 1/2". Check out my other WW1 postcards and items.
