WWI Doughboy Helmet 1st Infantry Division & Big Red One & I Corps Markings

The photos that show a darker shade of the helmet is truer to its shading. The helmet shows layered history. Wartime-style paint and insignia consistent with WWI service.

Interior retains original construction features typical of the M1917 model. Heated number on the inside rim for further identification.
