This straight, tapered double-edged blade measures 35 ½ from tip to hilt. There are no nicks in the blade, but it shows signs of oxidation. The ricasso is marked with "LF&C 1918" with the eagle stamp on one side and US no. 12 with the eagle stamp on the other side.
The hilt measures 7 and features the checkered bakelite grip. The knuckle guard is of curved steel and forms a full basket guard, also showing oxidation. I have not cleaned this sword other than dry wiping it. Please see the photos for details. The item "WWI LF&C No.
