WWI Vintage Winchester Model A5 Rifle Scope, External Adjustment Rings / Bases

Markings: MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. The rings / bases are marked PAT.

Overall Condition: The optics are clear, with just a bit of dirt/dust around the circumference - we believe this will clean. There is about 85% finish remaining, with a few scattered patches of erosion and surface rust. The finish is original and the rust may improve with a good cleaning.

There is only slight marking from the external adjustment rings and a couple of other marks (we have tried to photograph all of them). All of these instances of wear are only cosmetic. There is some discoloration to the finish from age - in addition to the freckles of surface rust.

There are no dents in the tube and the scope remains completely functional and quite sharp for its age. Be sure to add me to your.
