Australian WW1 Machinegun Corps Slouch Hat

An Australian WW1 Machine-gun Corps hat. An unexpected find, an original Australian expeditionary forces piece which I have never seen for sale before.

A little salty and staines with some fading to felt body. Lining partially detached with 1917 newspaper reinforcing. Its cloth div sign is well seated along with an old comrades badge. Original leather drawstring and verdigris metal fittings.
