On 15 March 1918 he took command of. A collection of Jastas 23, 34 and 35, and in the last month of the war he commanded Jasta 21.
By the war's end his score was 35. This is much more than a rare pocket watch-this is a piece of the history! The watch comes from the family estate of Captain Schleich and it also comes with his personal 800 Silver Iron Cross Order!! Special 24h Dial (day/night indicator) ;very special Omega caliber , A1 grade chronometer. The watch has an amazing special 18k satin gold case, depicted owner's initials ES.The watch is really impressive -51mm in diameter, 105g heavy!!! This watch is fitted with the most precision Omega lever chronometer calibers with 10 CHATONS! (5 screwed gold chatons, and 5 pressed gold chatons under the dial). A1 grade lever chronometer movement, fully jeweled, special precision Omega patent fine adjustment micrometric regulator, signed Omega, big compensating bymetalic balance with gold screws, Breguet spiral, fine regulator, early 3/4 plate movement.
Amazing fine enamel dial with 24h day/night indications and 60 minutes indications. On the dial is depicting the Iron Cross Order on the left side and the Luftwaffe eagle on the right side. Has 24 hour dial notation on the dial. That means that the movement has to be altered so that the hour hand doesn't go in 360 degrees around the dial in 12 hours, but rather in 24 hours.
The hour hand, in my example, would only show 1900 hours. You'd know for sure that it was early evening. Conventional 12 hour watches have a "motion work" involving a 12 to 1 reduction in the gear train from the minute hand. 24 hour watches have a different gearing, with a 24 to 1 reduction. To be very technical, the motion work is the small 12-to-1 (or here a 24-to-1) reduction gear train that turns the timepiece's hour hand from the minute hand.
It is attached to the going train by the friction coupling of the cannon pinion, so the minute and hour hands can be turned independently to set the timepiece. It is often located on the outside of the movement's front plate, just under the dial. Get Images that Make Supersized Seem Small.
