Pre Wwi German Model 1873 Cavalry Sword-alex Coppel Solingen 1905

Very good condition and guaranteed original pre WWI Imperial German Model 1873 cavalry sword that is maker marked ALEX COPPEL SOLINGEN on the right side blade ricasso and dated 1905 on the spine. 29 ¾ blade has nice bright finish and was probably polished at some point. Sword is unit marked F. On the left side of the guard for issue to a Fortress Telephone Company, or possibly a Transport Pool Column. Remaining metal finish is brown and gray. Grip shows some normal wear. Fitted in correct original steel scabbard that has a matching unit marking. Scabbard has brown and gray metal finish and no dents. A classic M1873 cavalry sword with scarce matching unit markings.
