On offer I have a WW1 Era Brevet silver cased Demi Hunter Trench Watch. The font of the case has a small dent at the top which can be seen in the photo the front glass has a yellow ish tinge to it.
The case opens with a button located at the bottom of the case. On the inside of the front case we have the following Brevet 71363 the letters JW and the number 3305918328 and what looks to be a q There is a hallmark next to the winder but I cant make it out The rear of the the case is plain witch screws off and is stamped with 925 also what looks to be a U or V there is another mark but cant make it out. At the top it says Brevet 71363 the letters JW and another number 3305918 328 there are also service marks. The movement is clean and working I had the watch serviced and the winding spring replaced two weeks ago. There are no other marks on the movement.
The strap looks to be original and can just make out made in Great Britain I'm not sure if the buckle has hallmarks on it. The face of the watch still has most of the original lume on the hands and the numbers there is a chip just above the number 11 and a hairline crack from the number 3 to the 40 second Please note the hands may need a little attention as they seem to get stuck from time to time. The watch is over one hundred years old and cannot guarantee the time keeping of the watch. If anyone has any info about the watch I would love to here it.
