Ww1 Aif Compass 1st Division Australia Capt M T Rich

WW1 Australian compass that belonged to Captain M T Rich 1st Division AIF as stamped on leather pouch. The compass is still in working order. The pouch is missing the clasp to fasten. A small hair line crack is noticeable on the face of the compass & 2 screws are missing on the front brass plate as seen in photo's 10 & 11. A small pair of watch screws would fix this if desired by future owner. A very unique & rare piece or history for any collectors or museum to have in their possession.
