WW1 German 98/05 aA SAWBACK Bayonet, W15

WW1 Prussian S98/05 aA Sawback with partial muzzle ring (ears) and an applied flashguard , date W15, made by ERFURT. Blade has typical staining from age, no sharpening, crisp sawteeth.

Pommel and crossguard have a nice clean, aged patina to metal surfaces. Unmolested wood grips and screwbolts/spanner nuts. Steel scabbard with original black paint has a number of dents and flat areas, however, the blade sheaths in & out with ease. Overall condition of bayonet is Very Good and better for its age. Scabbard is good + overall.
