1918 WWI Poster Remember Belgium Ellsworth Young Fourth Liberty Loan Propaganda

World War I propaganda poster. (signed in plate Ellsworth Young) and issued in. The poster features a dramatic silhouette of a German soldier dragging a woman from a burning village. Young's striking use of black figures against a glowing green and orange background created an image that became one of the defining visuals of the Fourth Liberty Loan campaign, an emotionally charged reference to atrocities committed during the invasion of Belgium.

This poster is one of the most iconic and dramatic WWI bond campaign images and remains highly sought after by collectors of early 20th-century propaganda art. Original WWI-era printing (not a reproduction). Poster shows expected signs of age consistent with a 100+ year old lithograph. Orizontal fold at center (common in Liberty Loan posters), most wear where 2 folds meet in center, see last photo in listing for close up. Overall very good condition and linen backed to further protect for future wear.
