The recipes of the first edition were collected and put into print for two nieces, Emery May Holden and Katherine Davis Holden shortly after the marriage of the former niece to Mr. Henry Norweb, in Paris in 1917, during the World War I. The Second Edition is dedicated to the nieces who have been married since that time.

The book includes picture portraits of the nieces. 151 pages + 26 additional & index. A collection of recipes attributed to a long line our Aunties from the well known Cleveland family - The Holden's.

Know for their philanthropy and deep roots in the community during the mid 1900's until the mid 20th century. Filled with American staples along with a couple of "Old Recipes" such as Lemon Syllabub, Wine Possett, and Cowslip Wine.
