Be sure to add me to your. Another awesome barn find in Northern California. So, I have noted any markings/stamps to help identify key points in Your research: initials in stirrup straps, numbers, etc. The girth looks like other authentic girths Ive seen.

The saddle is marked 11 Inch Seat on a brass emblem. This saddle is well-used, but despite its age appears to be in rather good condition; staining and corrosion, and some scuffs, aside. I do not know if it is covered in cow-hide or leather.

It has not been cleaned/oiled/conditioned in quite some time, and it will remain in its current condition until you decide to do so. The stirrups are leather-wrapped and bound an artillery trait, im told; plus, the rings. If you have any info youd like to share with me (regarding this item) - I encourage and welcome your knowledge. As much as, I love researching my items, they can become overwhelming.
