Sterling Silver, Hardened (for wartime use). Case and movement triple marked Longine EF Co. Case and movement date to 1915. Oversized W: 35 WWith:37 L 39. Dial is in incredible condition-no fissures, cracks or chips!! Highly original item which has not been restored or polished-perfect for collectors. The watch case is low grade sterling silver and was purposely produced that way to harden the silver made for wartime use. 7 or 70% silver as silver is otherwise too soft for battlefield conditions.
