Kavanagh this original Canvas Oil Painting depicts a French Infantry Soldier enjoying a smoke near a campfire. He is wearing his kepi hat with haversack alongside his bayonet. Century artist known for his genre oil paintings.

The painting measures 16" by 20" and has a faint stamp on the back canvas from the company that prepared it. We have posted many photographs and in the blacklight photograph you can see some professional inpainting along the top edge, originally caused by the stretcher.
