This is a Great looking World War II Era British Regimental Metal Drum for the 10th Princess Mary's own Gurkha Rifles which was a Rifle Regiment of the British Indian Army comprising of Gurkha Soldiers of Nepalese Origin. This unique piece displays very well and would be a fairly Rare & Impressive Addition to any WWI, WWII or British Military Collection. This hand painted Regimental Drum is begging to be on display. This is a Very Unique Piece Perfect for a Museum! 1 of 50+ Estate Fresh Items Picked Weekly.

This old Drum still has the original wooden rim on the top and bottom with the top drum skin still in place. The bottom has long since been lost. There is minimal wear to the paint and overall this Drum displays very well and would be a welcome addition to any British Military Museum.

The ropes are most likely replacements though they display nicely with replacement leather tighteners. Overall a very nice piece, slightly uneven top rim. 15 1/4" Tall 15 1/2" Across 15 1/2 Deep.
