Armed Services Edition Books WW2 1940s Wartime Pocket Paperback Book? Selection

Own a piece of history! For sale are individual Armed Services Edition (ASE) paperback books, part of a large and authentic collection dating from 1918 to 1945.

These vintage books were originally distributed to U. Soldiers during WWII, making them a cherished relic of American history and military culture.

These books are not reprints - they are original wartime issues, printed in a compact horizontal format to fit in a soldier's pocket. They were created by the Council on Books in Wartime to boost morale and provide education and entertainment on the front lines. Books Marked (STAMPED) include 2 pictures.

One of the cover, and one of the stamp (OR WRITING/SIGNATURE). Most are stamped with "70th SFA Hospital - Special Service". Others have writing from soldiers.
