471 Tpr George Thornhill 13/LHR AIF. Embarked 28/5/15 with the original B Squadron 13th LH. Killed in action 23/9/15 (shrapnel wounds to head and body) aged 25. Buried Lone Pine Cemetery, Gallipoli. One of only 6 members of the 13th Light Horse to be KIA on Gallipoli. Bought here in Victoria less that 20 km from his home address. See photos for a better idea of condition.
