A nicely preserved and gently worn specimen of the khaki AEF U. Army jacket from World War 1. It has two hooks that hold the collar closed and 11 matching buttons with the American eagle insignia.

The tag inside the jacket sources it from C. Kenyon Company, New York, with a 1916 contract date. It is also stamped "NEW YORK DEPOT" and A. LUTZ--which was the enlisted man's name.

Other WWI uniform items from A. Lutz have come up for sale in the past.

Beautiful antique condition, from a non-smoking environment. A few small moth holes, as well as one larger one--about ½--which is visible from the rear, on the wearer's right arm.

It has some minor light stains and a very nicely done tiny repair to the right breast pocket, which is noticeable on close examination. The above is my good-faith attempt to disclose all noteworthy issues. Keep in mind that vintage/antique items always show their age. It would be impossible to mention every tiny detail, so please expect that there will be something about this item (or lot) that's not perfect and may need touch-up. I'LL BE GLAD TO ANSWER.

Provided it's rated the same (or faster) than the service you chose. If you live in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Netherlands, Norway, or U. Message me to see whether there may be a cheaper alternative using Priority Post -- depending on the size and value of your parcel.

And provided the items can travel safely in the same box. (opens in a separate window/tab)... Where you'll find more top-quality antiques/collectibles/artwork/dolls/and more!

IT CONTAINS VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION.
