Extremely Rare WW1 Imperial Russian Adrian Helmet. Here we have something not often seen, an Imperial Russian Adrian helmet.
The helmets were issued to both officers and privates with the aim of reducing head injuries (the French studies showed that the steel Adrian prevented 75% of all head injuries) but were disliked by the Emperor but this was contested by his generals. These were one of only a few Imperial Russian steel helmets ever tried and a rare addition to any WW1 collection. The helmet is 12 inches (30 cm) from back to front. Aside from one dent on the left side of the skull the helmet is in good condition for its age with its leather liner and chinstrap complete. The item "Extremely Rare WW1 Imperial Russian Adrian Helmet" is in sale since Friday, February 15, 2019.
