This is a nice example of a Bavarian Kurassier Officer's Sword Pallasch which dates from the late 19th to early 20th Century. It is wearing a double fullered straight blade that measures 33 1/8 inches in length. The blade remains in very nice original condition with only some minor surface blemishes and is marked with the logo of Alex Coppel on the ricasso as well as wears lovely etchings on either side "IN TREUE FEST". The multi-branch guard remains in nice tight condition, framing a nice fish skin covered hilt that healthy and with its twisted wire wrap still tightly in place.
Theplated metal scabbard has a little scuffing, and some flaking to the plating nevertheless does remain in very good serviceable condition. Overall measuring 421/4 inches in length. TO SEE ADDITIONAL PHOTOS PLEASE SCROLL DOWN.
